    AUM Sri Ganeshāya Namah

    Shubh Ganesh Chaturthi!

Greetings and peace to you all,
    Happy Ganesh Chaturthi!

After the Vedic month Śrāvaṇa, (August-September), the month of fasting and cleansing of we arrived at the new month of Bhādrapad.

In the month Śrāvaṇa, we made special connections through meditations on Shiva to expand our consciousness.

The solar eclipse of last Sunday (13 September 2015) gave us the opportunity to fast, meditate, restriction and body cleansing in Holy water.

Today the Divine has given has blessed us with a new opportunity to connect and share the love and light of the Divine.

Another opportunity to assess our karmic acts and change.

    Ganesha Chaturthi:
Today is Ganesh Chaturthi or “Vinayak Chaturthi”. This is one of the major connections in the Vedic year by the Dharmic community.

Ganesh Chaturthi falls on the 4th day of the bright fortnight, shukla paksha of Bhadrapada (August-September) starting on the shukla chaturthi (fourth day of the waxing moon period). Typically the day falls sometime between August and September.
The festival lasts for 10 days, ending on Ananta Chaturdashi, and is traditionally celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha.

    Ganesha the removal obstacles:
We celebrate the appearance revelations of God known as Ganesh.

Ganesh signifies the remover of all spiritual obstacles in our journey.
Our journey in our connection with the Divine energy (Shakti) and divine consciousness (Shiva).

Ganesh is the premium (Ish) runner to divine wisdom and knowledge which lead of all living entities (Gana) to The Supreme Personality of Godhead.

    Ganesha the Karma cleanser:
Through the connection with Ganesh, we inject our consciousness with the divine light in all karmic acts. We create our future destiny in the present and diminish the negative effects in the future.

By reciting the Ganesh mantra we also cleanse the blockages in our chakras. As such we are cleaning and balancing our chakra system.

As such our energy and connection with the Divine flows due to our stronger connection with the Divine.

So let's connect to Ganesh ( Gana+Ish=Ganesh) today and the following ten days.

    AUM Gam Ganapataye Namaha
