    Gemstone or birth stones or lucky stones affect the human body through their measured radiations. It is a piece of mineral, which, in cut and polished form, is used to make jewelry or other adornments. The Amethyst is a variety of quartz ,transparent to translucent,distinguished by its purple color due to the presence of iron in the crystal lattice.
