well for me I would say diwali when i was a kid because as a kid I liked blasting crackers and loads of sound interested me a lot, Now holi since i am found of colors. How about you what interests you most and why ?
I don't think I have a very favorite, but if I really had to pick it would be Thai Pusam. Our local annual 10 day temple festival is right up there too. Others I celebrate are Guru Purnima, Skanda Shasthi, Sivaratri, Tamil New Year, and Vinayaka Chaturthi.
