I'm curious as to how many of you go to Hindu temples. If you do go, then how often do you go there as an individual?
We're Hindus. Most Hindus go to Hindu temples. I go at least once a week, but more likely about twice a week. For a couple of festivals, I'll go for 10 days straight. It's an essential part of most Hindu's lives.
I am Hindu but I hardly go to temple (if you mean temple by construction where majority go to worship), if you say temple in home yes i do but that too occasionally but if you mean temple by inner-temple that i visit it once or twice in a day. We Hindus have many definition of temples and their is no compulsory rule for Hindus to goto temple. we Hindus go their to get some positive vibes and get relaxed from hectic life. Tnx
Something you will notice in asking all general questions is that there is no consensus among Hindus. That's because Hinduism is vast. Our scriptures themselves are 200 times the Christian Bible in length. Combine Judaism, Bahai, Islam, and Christianity, and all the sects, and that would be the rough equivalent of Hinduism. So imagine asking a single question to those 4 faith groups. You would expect differing responses, yes?
