    You have just opened a opinion poll :p
    and the little difference i know is that :
    Sakta hold Shakti as the supreme Godhead
    The Vaishnava regard Vishnu as the supreme Godhead

    Namaste ... it's not exactly simple as there are many schools of Vaishnavism, and many schools of Shaktism. Vaishnavism tends to be dualistic, while Shaktism has more monism, and is more aligned to Saivism. Both are generally ritualistic and have bhakti schools.
